The Hortensia Herrero Art Centre (HHAC), located in a former palace in the heart of Valencia, brings together architecture, history and contemporary art in the same space. In its more than 3,500m2 it houses works by nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Anselm Kiefer, Jaume Plensa, Anish Kapoor, David Hockney, Olafur Eliasson and Antoni Tàpies, offering a wide variety of formats and disciplines, from painting, sculpture and multimedia art.

In addition, contemporary works of art are intermingled with archaeological remains found during the construction of HHAC, such as the Roman circus of Valencia, an alley of the Jewish quarter, a medieval oven or an Islamic fountain.
